Oooh it is so much fun searching through all the goodies to see what you will create and thinking how you want to create it. I have created a prompt list with verses to help you with journaling your gratitude. My first faitdex card will be an envelope that I will save my prompt list in. So lets play…
The first thing I did was to go through the kit to find the elements I want to play with. I also printed my prompt list that I want to save in the envelope.
Next I found a circle punch to cut our the little bird on the cut out sheet.
The envelope is already scored where you need to fold it, use a bone folder to fold the envelope and get beautiful crisp folds.
Tear some of the old book page to add to your stitched cluster that you will glue to the front of the envelope.
Ink all the elements that you will decorate your envelope with, I used Vintage photo Distress Ink.
I coloured the piece of lace with the Vintage Photo Ink and also painted it with some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Spray.
The white flower for the envelope I painted with some Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Spray and spritzed it with water. This creates the yellow and brown effect.
Create the cluster on the front of the envelope by sowing the torn book page, the scolop piece, the lace and circle with the bird with a sowing machine. Create a little bow with the green ribbon.
Cut out the prompt list and ink the edges. Alternatively you can print it on tea died paper.
Glue all the elements and add the pears as a final touch and add it to your box. Hope you enjoyed creating this easy faithdex envelope!
