Good morning, the first prompt on the prompt list is water and we are pondering on Psalm 104: 10-11
10 He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills. 11 They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
We need water to live. 70% of the world is water but all is not drinkable as the sea water is salty and not suitable to drink. We need water to clean ourselves, we also use water to relax in and calm down or cool down, swimming pools. God knows we need water because without it we cannot survive so he provides us therefor with spring water to sustain life. And it is not just humans that may have the water, every animal that lives may quench their thirst even the wild donkeys that cannot be tamed that are not useful may quench their thirst. Can you see how awesome is God’s mercy and love for His creation. He provides everything we need to live a good life.
Can we pray for people and animals living in places where there is drought and not enough water for humans and animals. Can we think about the many country’s that do not allow their citizens to have this basic need, can we pray that the may receive wisdom to assist their people to find and have this basic need.
I chose some papers from the kit and left over scraps and created my card first bu measuring snd cutting a piece of cardstock to size.
I am blessed to have a faithdex punch in my stash and added the holes to add the card to my faithdex box with the punch. There is also a template for the card in the kit that you can use to cut out the card.
Next I inked all the edges of the elements with vintage photo distress ink that I am going to use for this card. I wanted to create a pocket where I can store more tags and journaling cards that I will do my journaling on.
To create the pocket I sowed the two pieces of cardstock together with my sowing machine, and left some of the cotton string dangling to give it more interest. If this bothers you you can cut them off.
I then fussy cut some of the elements in the kit and inked their edges also with vintage photo distress ink to keep with my vintage theme. To ground the elements I used washi tape at the bottom of the pocket and glued the elements onto the pocket. I used foam circles to raise some of the flowers. In my stash I found a thin lace that I glued to the top of the pocket to decorate it more.
As a final touch I added enamel dots to complement the elements on the card, but you can use half pearls or Nuvo drops or whatever you can find in your stash.
Hope you enjoyed the process. Here is a link to our you tube video. Have a good day✨💖✨
