Faithdex box journaling #3 – Acetate Faithdex Card

I am having so much fun creating these faithdex box cards, hope you are too. I could not wait to play with the acetate and had to create one of those cards next! Get your supplies let’s start.

I folded the acetate piece first and used a bonefolder to make the folds nice and professional looking. The piece that fits on the front page of the card I inked with Distress Oxide ink, Vintage photo.

The next step is to fussy cut the elements you want to use from the elements sheet, I also inked them to hide the white cut edges.

There are also die cuts in the kit that I used as indicated on the photo’s that you will receive with the kit. When you ink them be gentle as some are very delicate.

Another decor item that goes with this card is a fussy cut flag that is glued to a small clothes peg. I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide Spray to colour the peg, then after drying it glued it to the inked flag that I fussy cut and inked, from the cutting sheet.

Next is to add all the elements you prepared to the acetate faithdex card. I used Tombow Aqua glue that I have transferred to a small bottle with a very fine tip.

The leaf vains in the kit I just love, but they are also very delicate and they are glued to the back of the acetate card. To hide the glue, a little fussy cut bird is glued to the opposite side of the page, and creates a cute cluster on the acetate card.

Once you are happy with the cluster, it is time to decorate the front of the faithdex card. Place some of the fussy cut elements like the sunflower cluster and blessed tab on the front pagend glue them in place.

To hide the glue marks, glue another fish tail element to to the back of the front page. This can be used for some hidden journaling.

Lastly decorate the clothes peg and add it to your Faithdex card.
